Greek language
The greek language is called
ελληνικά
It is also called
νέα ελληνικά
(modern greek) as opposed to
αρχαία ελληνικά
(ancient greek)
Note:
- The word
αρχαία
has the same origin than our 'archaic' word
-
Νέα
also means 'new'
